Day 13

Day: 13
Today I started my indoor sprout garden again. I was happy to find out that I could juice sprouts. I am also starting more wheatgrass. Now that I have my wheatgrass juicer, I'm out of control...lol.

My sleeping patterns
Last nights sleep: Very good sleep
Night sweats: Some
Chills: None
Dreams: No memory
Energy level upon waking: Moderate, I wanted to sleep longer this morning.
Mood level upon waking: good


Juice Schedule
My personal Juice Schedule:
32 ounces of water w/ lemon and MSM*
Time: 9:00am


32 ounces of green juice (celery, cucumber, spinach, collard greens and green apples)
Time: 11:00am

32 ounces of carrots, beet, red apple and ginger w/ Patagonia* bee pollen
Time: 1:30pm

32 ounces of green juice (celery, cucumber, spinach, collard greens and green apples) w/ Nutiva* organic hemp oil.
Time: 4:30pm

32 ounces of green juice (celery, cucumber, spinach, collard greens and green apples)
Time: 8:30pm

Detox Symptoms: No noticeable ones.

Eliminations: Only with enema

Food cravings: I craved eating. Nothing specific. I just craved eating
.
Physical changes: People are beginning to see a physical difference in me.

Emotional changes: I found myself feeling a little impatient today. I'm not sure where it's coming from. I am an extremely patient person.

Exercise: Walking to regain strength in my legs: 30 min
Belly dancing: 1 hour
Muscle toning: None


Challenges: I am beginning to not like the thick part of my juice. No matter how much I strain and mix, I still get it and I just can't get it down.

My starting weight: 143lbs
Todays weight: 140lbs. (plateau)

Total weight loss since juice feasting began: 3lbs

My Goal is to drink more water.
My future self is committed to sharing the raw food lifestyle with others.

Day 12

Day 12
Wow! I have so much energy today after being so tired yesterday. I decided to do some household spring cleaning. I pulled everything out of the closets and drawers and literally reorganized and purged old stuff. Similar to the way the juice feast is cleansing my body. It's a great feeling. I had to stop and take breaks so I wouldn't burn out and end up not completing the task.

Eliminations: Not very much today. I think I got rid of a lot yesterday

Food cravings: None. The interesting thing for me is, that if I don't start the eating machine, then I don't have to worry about struggling with the shut off button.

Physical changes: I put on a pair of jeans I hadn't worn in years.

Emotional changes: I feel really good today

Challenges: Making juice for a full day when I have early morning appointments.

Day 11

Day: 11
My Wheatgrass juicer arrived! I feel like a kid with a brand new toy.

I'm a little tired today and don't have much of an appetite for juice. There is some serious detoxing going on.

My sleeping patterns
Last nights sleep: Didn't sleep as well last night. I had to get up a couple times.
Lots of intestinal eliminations and I had lower back pain. At one point, during the night visit to the bathroom, my elimination was quite uncomfortable. I kept feeling like the urge to go, yet nothing.
Night sweats: None
Chills: Some
Dreams: No memory
Energy level upon waking: a little low today from lack of sleep.
Mood level upon waking: so so.


Juice Schedule

1 cup of peppermint tea ( very nice)

32 ounces of green juice (celery, cucumber, spinach, green apples)
Time: 11:00am

32 ounces of grapefruit w/ Patagonia* bee pollen
Time: 1:30pm

32 ounces of green juice (celery, cucumber, spinach, green apples) w/ Nutiva* organic hemp oil.
Time: 4:30pm

32 ounces of green juice (celery, cucumber, spinach, green apples)
Time: 8:30pm

Detox Symptoms: Lots of emotional stuff along with the intestinal eliminations.

Eliminations: Several intestinal eliminations last night and today. If it weren't for the fact that I knew I had had beets yesterday, I would have thought I was hemorrhaging. I passed red for 24 hours. The enema really helped me to feel better today.

Food cravings: None

Physical changes: My abdomen looks flatter. Feels flatter also.

Emotional changes: I had some teary moments. I have been listening to meditation and healing CD's. I think my liver getting cleansed, with the juice feasting, is stirring up all kinds of emotions.

Challenges: Consuming all my juice today.
