I Am Juice Feasting Again! (Day 1)
Hi to all my friends,
Today is January 3rd and I am juice feasting again. It is Day 1 and I will be sharing my experiences with you once again After the thirty days, I will return to my 100% raw vegan lifestyle, only this time I will post what I'm eating day be day. So far I have been very good with maintaining a 100% raw vegan lifestyle, however, I have not been maintaining balance. I had gotten into the bad habit, again, of mindless overeating when stressed My GOAL is to overcome the compulsion to overeat when I am stressed. I've gained a few pounds back since I reached my goal weight while on the 2008 Global Juice Feast. My mistake was eating lots of nuts with reckless abandonment. I knew what I was doing was going to catch up with me eventually. Somehow, I think I might have been testing myself to see how far I could go. Well, I found out. Even on raw food you must eat in moderation. Small amounts of raw food is the best way to go because live food is highly nutritious. Juice Feasting again will get me back on track.
Current Weight: 137lbs
Goal weight: 125lbs
I slept in this morning, so I got a late start preparing my juice.
9:00 am I had 1 quart of water with lemon juice and MSM.
I had an enema followed by skin brushing and a hot bath. ( I was too cold to do contrast showers).
I prepared my juice. It takes about an hour or so from start to clean up.
Tomorrow I will be back to my regular schedule.
11:15 am I had 1 quart Green Juice made with:
Celery, organic fuji apples, cucumber, organic spinach, romaine lettuce, mixed baby greens, and lemon.
2:30 pm I had 1 quart of Fruit Juice made with:
Pomegranate and fuji apples. (Way too much apple juice for me! I need to modify this one).
6:30 pm I had 1 quart Green juice made with:
Celery, organic fuji apples, cucumber, organic spinach, romaine lettuce, mixed
baby greens, and lemon.
9:30 pm I had 1 quart Green Juice made with:
Celery, organic fuji apples, cucumber, organic spinach, romaine lettuce, mixed baby greens and lemon.
1. Urinated a lot today.
2. Had chills all day so I needed a cup of warm lemon water with ginger and raw honey.
3. My tummy is making sounds like a washing machine...lol...believe me, it's a good thing.
I didn't do any today. I decided to take it slow. I will be on point tomorrow.
