Day 56, 57, 58 and 59
Day 56, 57, 58 and 59
It looks like I am behind again on my blogging. I got Parastroy* today and I will start taking it tomorrow(Day 60). I have been having some intense detox symptoms. Mostly emotional mixed with bursts of euphoria. It's been quite interesting. Yesterday I did not want juice. I only drank water and had some tea. I don't know what was going on, but juice was not on the menu. I still have a rash on my neck it looks as though it is healing. I wonder if it may be uric acid coming out through my skin. I have been taking the Chanca piedra consistently. The seasonal allergy is back again. I have been sneezing all day today. I'm not sure what blooming now, however, I'm back on tiny bits of Bee pollen* to help get me through.

Physical changes: Skin brushing is wonderful. It really does get rid of cellulite if you do it everyday. I have noticed major physical changes. my skin is so smooth and even. What's even better, I went shopping for new clothes. I now wear size 7 jeans. Whoo Hoo!!!

Day 55
I had a slight headache today. I think it was because I had been in the sun too long today. It gets hot and dry here in Phoenix and you can dehydrate very easily. I noticed that I wasn't urinating as frequently as I had been. Yesterday I was a little off my juice schedule. I only managed to get in 2 quarts of juice. I felt fine, not deprived at all. Today I'm back to normal.

Can you believe it, It's been 53 days!

I think its time for me to start taking some pictures, Although, I wanted to wait until the end of the juice feast. I feel so blessed and so alive. I've been getting kind of backed up on my posting. I'm still continuing to feel great. I went to two restaurants with my juice and so far, it hasn't been a problem. Just in case, I created a restaurant card. I got the idea from Victoria Boutenko in her book, 12 steps to raw food. I received my book, Anastasia, by Vladimir Megre' today, I am so excited.
I feel like a child with brand new toy.

I'm still partial to my green juices right now. I have a bag of carrots in the fridge and I have no desire for them. Kinda strange. I'm going to have a house guest staying with us for two weeks. I'm a little anxious about juggling juice and food preparation.

I'm getting quite skinny. I don't mind it too much, however I still have a month in a half to go. I wonder what I will be then? I added some coconut oil as a supplement today. I actually took it a step further, Spirulina Bars
I measured :
1/2 cup of organic, unrefined coconut oil
1/3 cup of organic raw honey
1/4 cup of spirulina
1/4 teaspoon of Celtic sea salt
Blended it together and poured it on a plate and placed it in the fridge. When it hardened(approx. 10-20 min.), I cut it into tablespoon size pieces. Yummy!
My juice has been all about the greens now. I haven't wanted fruit. It just hasn't appealed to my lately.

I went to the Diamondbacks game last evening( Yay! they won!) and sat next to people eating peanuts, hot dogs, pizza and beer. The combination of smells was overwhelming, none of which triggered any cravings. I had my bottle of water with me and I was fine with that. I didn't bring my juice with me because you can not bring any food or drink into the ballpark. I find that to be a challenge for me most places.

Day 40 and 41
Day 40 and 41
It's hard to believe I made it this far. I feel fantastic and my spirituality has reached a new level since the start of the juice feast. My body is really cleaning itself. There is truth regarding the intestines harboring mucoid plaque. Read below about my experience with elimination.
My sleeping patterns

Dreams: No memory

32 ounces of water w/ lemon and MSM*
Time: 9:00am
32 ounces of green juice (celery, cucumber, collard greens, bok choy, green apples and a shot of wheatgrass ) w/ Nutiva* organic hemp oil.
Time: 11:00am
32 ounces of carrot juice
Time: 1:30pm
32 ounces of green juice(celery, cucumber, collard greens, bok choy and green apples)w Chanca piedra* extract

Detox Symptoms: I have been experiencing some irritability. The liver does store emotional stuff that you put on the back burner.
Eliminations: With coffee enema only, however, I experienced eliminating what looked like the mucoid plaque that I have often heard about. I'm so sorry to be graphic: Click here. It didn't look like what has been shown in the photos advertising cleanses, It was much smaller. I knew exactly what it was when I saw it and was happy it was coming out.

Day 38 and 39
Day 38 and 39
I started taking Chanca piedra* today. I was so sure about the extract because it contains alcohol. I diluted it in a small glass of water and chugged it down. I have never experienced kidney or gall bladder stones. I feel for people who do.

Dreams: I had two dreams that were very vivid last night. The first was at my mother's home. It was a new home, one I did not recognize. We were celebrating my birthday, my 50th birthday. She was lighting huge black candles all over the house, 50 of them. It was weird. My second dream involves an incident that I didn't deal with some years ago. I won't mention it in detail because of confidentiality. In this dream, I was able to express the anger I should have expressed in the past. I woke up this morning with rapid breathing, but also a since of relief.

I went to a Meet up last night and the topic was on colonics and the importance of a raw plant based diet. Juice feasting and fasts were also discussed. It was an inspiring experience. I purchased two books by Dr. Norman W. Walker, Colon Health, the key to a vibrant life and Fresh vegetables and fruit juices.

Day 35 and 36
Day 35 and 36
I started growing my wheatgrass again and it is ready to add to my juice. When I drink a shot of it, i find it is too intense. It sends me immediately into a cleansing reaction. Today I going to start my sprout garden again. I go through my sprouts so fast I almost need a green house. Lately I have been posting two days at a time because I haven't been able to use my computer.

Dreams: I was dreaming about eating again. I can't remember what it was I was eating, however, I didn't wake up with a guilty feeling. It must have been healthy and raw.

Detox Symptoms: Off and on I have had redness in my right eye. I don't know what causes it. I think it's a signal for me to flush out toxins.
Eliminations: I am back to not eliminating on my own. I wonder why this is?
maybe I do need to try using cascara sagrada.
Food cravings: Yes. I found myself thinking about eating the nuts my spouse left on the coffee table. It wasn't an intense craving, however, as long as they were there I was was thinking about them.
Physical changes: Throughout the entire time of illness. I have had a greatly enlarged lymph node underneath my right arm. Since the juice feast, it has reduced in size. By the end of the juice feast, I'm hoping it will be normal. I also released 2 more pounds as of today.
Emotional changes: Feeling great
Exercise: Walking to regain strength in my legs: 30 min yesterday and today
Belly dancing: 1 hour yesterday
Muscle toning: I really need to do this
Challenges: We are going to have a house guest staying for two weeks. I'm a little anxious about my juice routine being thrown off. I know we are going to enjoy every minute of the visit. I just want to be sure I stay on task with my juicing.

Day 33 and 34

My significant other says our whole house smells like lawn clippings and that it is over powering. He also says I need to ease up on the garlic. He's not raw and he is not juicing, however, somehow we manage to live together in harmony. I received my dehydrator yesterday and I started making my own green powders from the fiber after juicing. It's just too good to go to waste. Today is shopping day and I'm going to experiment with some new juice recipes.
